Pastor
Keith Ross (photo left) resides in Maryville, Tennessee with his wife,
Starr, and has been a born-again believer in Christ since 1986.
Pastor Keith is very active, not only at Marble Hill Baptist Church
located in Friendsville, Tennessee, which he pastors, but also within
the Chilhowee Baptist Association where he has served on numerous
committees. He is a missions-oriented pastor and has served as a
Bible teacher on mission trips to Nicaragua and Honduras and functioned
as team leader on a mission trip to Canada.
Pastor Keith has a wide variety of ministry experience. He formerly served as minister of music, minister of administration, missions coordinator, and as chaplain to the Greenback High School football program.
Pastor Keith has written numerous free lance newspaper articles and has spoken in churches ranging in size from 20 members to 10,000 members.
Pastor Keith graduated with honors from Greenback High School. He has taken classes at the University of Tennessee, Pellissippi State Community College, and Johnson Bible College. Additionally, he has taken personal development courses which include The Theology Program, Adrian Rogers Pastor Study, and the THRIVE Church Growth program.
Since becoming pastor at Marble Hill, numerous initiatives have been implemented that include (1) the start of a revitalization program, (2) a partnership with Idlewild Baptist Church, (3) adoption of the church's first ever constitution and by-laws, (4) renovation of the sanctuary, and (5) development of the church's recently purchased property.
And finally, the church has been blessed to realize an increase in professions of faith and in baptisms.
