Marble Hill Baptist Church was founded in 1948 as a mission of Everett Hills Baptist Church of Maryville, TN. We are a growing church founded n the Word and focused on the Cross. We firmly believe in missions, as our church supports physically, financially, and spiritually several missions, both local and international. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist convention, the Tennessee Baptist Convention, and the Chilhowee Baptist Association. Please pray for our church as we try to take up our cross and follow Jesus Christ.
How do people dress at MHBC?
MHBC does not have a specific dress code. On Sunday mornings we have some men that wear suits, while others wear blue jeans. Some women wear dresses or skirts, and others wear dress pants.
Sunday evenings are more casual. Men typically wear jeans or dress pants, and most women do the same, although a few wear dresses.
On Wednesday evenings most everyone dresses casual.
Does MHBC have a preferred translation of Scripture?
We typically use the KJV from the pulpit, and reference other translations from time to time for a more clear understanding. If someone prefers to reference a different translation, that is totally acceptable.
Can MHBC help me grow spiritually?
We provide classes and fellowship time for people of all ages. Please see our ministries pages for more information.
What about my kids?
On Sunday mornings we have a children's worship service for kids aged 4 to the 5th grade. Special events are scheduled for these kids, too.
We also have a music team "Praizin'-4-Christ" that performs periodically and does special programs seasonally.
What can I expect during worship?
Our worship style is very blended. In a typical service there is southern gospel, traditional, and contemporary music.

If you are a born-again Christian and are interested in joining MHBC, please indicate so on the fellowship pad. Our pastors will meet with you to discuss details and set up a date to announce it to the church. You will be required to attend a "New Members Class."
