How do people dress at MHBC?
MHBC does not have a specified dress
code. On Sunday mornings we have some men that wear suits while
others wear jeans, some women wear dresses or skirts, and others
wear dress pants.
Sunday evenings are more casual. Men
typically wear jeans or dress slacks, and most women do the same
although a few wear dresses.
Wednesday evenings most everyone dresses
casual.
Does MHBC have a preferred translation of
scripture?
We typically use the KJV from the
pulpit, and reference other translations from time to time for a
more clear understanding. If someone prefers to reference a
different translation, that is totally acceptable.
Can MHBC help me grow spiritually?
We provide classes and fellowship time
for people of all ages. Please see our "Ministries" pages for more
information.
What about my kids?
On Sunday mornings we have a children’s
worship service for kids age 4 to the 5th grade. Special
events are scheduled for these kids too.
We also have a music team
“Praizin’-4-CHRIST” that performs periodically and does special
programs seasonally.
For younger children we have an infant
care room available if needed. Volunteers are happy to assist you.
What can I expect during worship?
Our worship style is very blended. In a
typical service there is Southern Gospel, Traditional, and
Contemporary music.
I would like to join MHBC!
If you are a Born-Again Christian and
are interested in joining MHBC please indicate so on the fellowship
pad. Our pastors will meet with you to discuss details and set up a
date to announce it to the church. You will be required to attend a
“New Member’s Class”.
