PASTOR'S MISSION STATEMENT: To take up your cross requires a vision. Hebrews 12:1-3 gives us this vision, "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds."
Jesus Christ saw a vision that made the cross, with all its shame, worth the cost. Unless we as Christians see a vision that makes our cross with all the struggles and hardships worth the cost we will never be able to carry our cross. My mission is to present the Gospel of Christ with the intent to provide that type of vision to all who listen. If I can preach the beauties of Heaven sweet enough to the Christian to realize the cost of living for Christ in this world is worth it, and to the lost sinner; the precious love God has, able to deliver such a one and give the beauties of Heaven, then I will have achieved my goal, souls will be saved, and many Christians will become true disciples.
